What is Spindle Bobbins Crash Protection?

Offering protection to the front wheel spindle, lower front forks and brake calipers, EP spindle bobbins for the Ducati Panigale 1299 S are discreet yet strong. The black bobbins sit snugly either side of the front spindle, held in place by a rolled-thread spindle rod. At the rear, the spindle bobbin projects from the nearside of the wheel offering protection to the swingarm. An anodised red hub stop secures the stainless steel rod in place on the offside. The durable materials of injection-moulded nylon and aluminium hope to be first to receive impact should an incident occur.
